Community Research Project

The Rainbow Bar Community Research Project is a citizen archaeology project supported by the Lithic Studies Society's 2021 Alan Saville Grant. A key outcome is the production of education and learning materials for schools, colleges and the general public. The project's starting point was the production of a video for the 2021 Festival of Lithics, which can be viewed here

Over time the project ambition is be the locus of access to the archaeological, historical, environmental and geological dimensions to the Rainbow Bar context.
